SOMETHING HAS BEGUN AT YELLOWSTONE SUPERVOLCANO

Monday, 23 July 2018 09:04

At about 4:30 AM eastern Daylight Time (EDT) today, Monday, July 23, something began happening at the Yellowstone supervolcano.   Seismograms in several locations around the massive volcano began registering strong and non-stop activity underground.

NOT ALL of the seismograms are reporting this, but enough of them are, over the majority area around the supervolcano, to cause scientists to begin paying extremely close attention.  This is what it looks like as of 8:49 AM EDT:

The trouble is not limited to a single seismogram, it is spread over a WIDE area beneath the volcano.  Here is the seismo from miles away at a place called West Thumb:

Even farther away, another seismogram from Lake Butte:

Miles farther away, here is the seismo from a place called "The Promotory:"

Yellowstone is one of only 14 "Super" volcanoes on this planet; and it is the ONLY one on land; meaning not covered by the ocean.

It is two THOUSAND TIMES bigger than Mount Saint Helens which erupted in Washington state in the 1980's.

NO ONE IS SAYING THERE IS ANY ERUPTION PENDING, but if an eruption did take place, it could literally wipe out every living thing within 500 miles in all directions during the first HOUR of any such eruption.

As volcanic ash is hurled high into the atmosphere, prevailing winds would carry it to the entire western two-thirds of the United States, killing crops and cattle - imperiling our food supply - and changing the weather across our entire PLANET for years.

There is no reason to PANIC.  If authorities determine that an eruption is becoming likely, they will give all of us warning.

So don't go off half-cocked and start acting like this is the end of the world.  If danger arises, we WILL get warning.

However, prudence dictates we pay attention to what is taking place so we have our own "heads-up."

The intent of this article is solely to provide public awareness so folks keep abreast of developments.
