DAY
7 OF THE 10 DAYS OF AWE IN WHICH SHOFAR BLASTS ANNOUNCE THE COMING OF WAR
THE
PROPHET HABAKKUK WROTE A MESSAGE DIRECTED TO THE END TIME BABYLON. IT WAS A SHORT MESSAGE CONTAINED IN A
"LITTLE BOOK" OF ONLY 3 CHAPTERS.
IN
THIS "LITTLE BOOK", HE SAID, "I WILL WORK A WORK IN YOUR DAY
WHICH YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE EVEN THOUGH IT BE TOLD YOU".
If
you are not aware that this work is going on right now, then you are the
fulfillment of this prophecy and no different from the party goers of Daniel
5. While they partied, the Medo-Persian
Army was busy diverting the river that flowed through ancient Babylon so they
could march into the city by way of the riverbed. Belshazar, the acting Regent, was slain that
same night along with his top military men.
What
is this "...work" that modern Babylon
"...will not believe even though it be told you"?
The
prophet Habakkuk defined the time his message would be opened as "...the
end time", meaning the end of the age ushered in by Noah and immediately
preceding the "take back" of planet earth from the hoard of demons who
have been working to destroy it for millennia.
We
learned earlier, in Isaiah 28, "To whom He would teach knowledge and cause
to understand doctrine..." and how he would accomplish this --- "...precept upon precept ... line upon
line ... here a little and there a little..."
If
we go to the book of Revelation, chapter 10, we find a 'little book' being
handed off "opened" to one who is told to "...eat it" and
that it would be "...sweet as honey in in your mouth but turn bitter in
your stomach".
Was
this "...little book" the book of Habakkuk? Was it handed off to one of the two prophets
of Revelation 11? Let's look.
In
verse 6 of chapter 1 of the book of Habakkuk, the Eternal tells the prophet
that He is going to raise up a nation of Chaldeans, (Chaldea is another name
for Babylon). This will be a rogue
nation that rapes, robs and pillages all the other nations. Their military will "...fly like the
eagles" and "...sup up the east wind", (coming from the west), and
none will be able to withstand them.
In
chapter 2 of Habakkuk, we see an indictment written by the Eternal and sealed,
as it were, until the time comes to judge this rogue nation. That time is now and I firmly believe that
this Babylon (America) has already been judged
and our destruction has been determined and will be the war that is on the
threshold even as I write.
We
can see in this 'little book' of Habakkuk that there is only one nation in all
of history that even comes close to fitting the description given by
Habakkuk.
We
can see in the 18th chapter of Revelation, that this nation meets it's end
"... in one hour". We can see
in Isaiah 13 that the Eternal will be commanding the armies that come against
this nation to loot it and evacuate survivors.
We can see also that it will be done by the same two nations that pooled
their resources to bring down ancient Babylon.
These are the Medes (Russia)
and Persia (Iran). These will be assisted by "...an
assembly of great nations" as we can see in Jeremiah 50-51.
The
"sweet taste" in the mouth of the prophet this little book was
handed to in Rev 10 and the sour stomach that follows have been discussed in
past Commentaries but for those who missed it or need repetition, the sweet taste
is the revelation of knowledge that has been revealed to no other human. The revelation of this knowledge has to be on
a par with a cocaine high.
However,
when this knowledge is digested, comes the realization of the responsibility
that comes with it and which is revealed in Revelation 10:11 --- "And he
said unto me, 'You must prophesy again before many peoples and nations and
tongues and kings'".
It
is not a pleasant experience to take a message to people who don't want to hear
it and will kill you for bringing it. The
only true prophets alive on earth at this time will be killed in the streets of
Jerusalem. (See Revelation 11).
Can
we begin to understand?
