In a previous report titled, “Growing Mayhem – US Operating on Both Sides of Syrian-Iraqi Border,” it was reported that (emphasis added):

Clearly, the answer, left for readers to arrive at on their own, is that these “successful” US airstrikes in Iraq must be carried over into Syria – where mission creep can do the rest, finally dislodging the Syrian government from power after an ongoing proxy war has failed to do so since 2011. After arming and aiding the Kurds in fighting ISIS in Iraq, the US will attempt to make a similar argument regarding the arming of terrorists in Syria and providing them direct US air support to defeat ISIS – and of course – Damascus.

In less than 24 hours, the New York Times would report in its article, “U.S. General Says Raiding Syria Is Key to Halting ISIS,” that:

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria cannot be defeated unless the United States or its partners take on the Sunni militants in Syria, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Thursday.
“This is an organization that has an apocalyptic end-of-days strategic vision that will eventually have to be defeated,” said the chairman, Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, in his most expansive public remarks on the crisis since American airstrikes began in Iraq. “Can they be defeated without addressing that part of the organization that resides in Syria? The answer is no.”

The NYT would also report:

Airstrikes in Syria would also draw the White House more deeply into a conflict from which it has sought to maintain some distance. But there is also risk in not acting, because it is very difficult to defeat a militant group that is allowed to maintain a sanctuary.

And finally, the NYT would claim:

Another step that some experts say will be needed to challenge the militant groups is a stepped-up program to train, advise and equip the moderate opposition in Syria as well as Kurdish and government forces in Iraq.

In reality, US special forces and other Western operatives have been inside and operating in Syria for years. The only missing ingredient the US seeks to justify is direct, open military intervention including airstrikes on Syrian territory.

US Created ISIS As Pretext for Military Intervention

It was the United States itself that intentionally created ISIS, beginning as early as 2007 for the expressed purpose of overthrowing the government of Syria and confronting pro-Iranian forces across the Middle East from Lebanon to Iran’s very doorstep. Veteran journalists and Pulitzer Prize-winner Seymour Hersh noted in his prophetic 2007 New Yorker article, “The Redirection Is the Administration’s new policy benefitting our enemies in the war on terrorism?” that (emphasis added):

To undermine Iran, which is predominantly Shiite, the Bush Administration has decided, in effect, to reconfigure its priorities in the Middle East. In Lebanon, the Administration has coƶperated with Saudi Arabia’s government, which is Sunni, in clandestine operations that are intended to weaken Hezbollah, the Shiite organization that is backed by Iran. The U.S. has also taken part in clandestine operations aimed at Iran and its ally Syria. A by-product of these activities has been the bolstering of Sunni extremist groups that espouse a militant vision of Islam and are hostile to America and sympathetic to Al Qaeda.

It would be difficult for anyone today not to call ISIS one of several “extremist groups that espouse a militant vision of Islam and are hostile to America and sympathetic to Al Qaeda.” The clandestine nature of this support from 2007, to 2011 when widespread violence erupted across Syria and soon began spreading beyond its borders, was less obvious.

The support to these sectarian extremist mercenaries became much more apparent after 2011, with monthly admissions published in the pages of the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other prominent newspapers across the West of the US CIA arming and funding terrorists along the Syrian-Turkish border for years – in the very areas now clearly serving as safe havens and conduits for ISIS.

The United States has intentionally created regional genocide and now proposes direct military intervention across multiple national borders as the solution – an arsonist left to fight fires of their own creation.

Madness Enabled by Profound Public Ignorance

The utter madness of US policy in the Middle East, and indeed around the world, is enabled by both public ignorance and apathy. It enables US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel to stand in front of the world and shamelessly claim:

ISIL [ISIS] is as sophisticated and well-funded as any group that we have seen,” Hagel said. “They’re beyond just a terrorist group. They marry ideology, a sophistication of strategic and tactical military prowess. They are tremendously well-funded. Oh, this is beyond anything that we’ve seen. So we must prepare for everything.

That the public never asks just how ISIS could achieve such regional prominence despite hundreds of millions of dollars in aid, weapons, and military backing allegedly being funneled to “moderate opposition” in Syria indicates a vast chasm between reality and where public opinion stands. Indeed, the hundreds of millions the West has been giving to “moderates” was in fact placed intentionally and directly into the hands of extremists to first attempt to directly overthrow the government in Damascus, and failing that, to provide a pretext for direct US military intervention.

No rational, plausible explanation has accounted for how ISIS has been able to receive yet more funding, weapons, and support than “moderates” supposedly backed by the collective resources of the US, Europe, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. It is clear that there were never any “moderates” to begin with, and that the goal was to create and utilize terrorist hordes like ISIS as a pretext for violently reordering the Middle East.

And even at face value, it should be evident to even the most uninformed, that US meddling in the Middle East has led directly to the regional chaos now unfolding and that the last possible option should be for the US to continue meddling. Unfortunately, with a “Democrat” in office, many Americans, and indeed liberals around the world, have regressed from anti-war sentiments to cognitive dissonance to explain why their elected representatives are meddling militarily in a part of the world they had protested for years to end America’s involvement in.

The pot continues to boil in the mid east and the agenda becomes more clear by the day.  The following quote from the above article shows quite graphically who created, armed and continues to fund the ISIS Army which appears to be our chief's own private army for the overthrow of Damascus

"US Created ISIS As Pretext for Military Intervention
It was the United States itself that intentionally created ISIS, beginning as early as 2007 for the expressed purpose of overthrowing the government of Syria and confronting pro-Iranian forces across the Middle East from Lebanon to Iran’s very doorstep."

We were checkmated on the frontal approach so with a proxy army of the Muslim sect, with which our chief evidently identifies, and a backdoor approach, perhaps we can disguise the overthrow of Damascus as a humanitarian intervention as we did in Iraq, Egypt and Libya.  By the time Americans (and the rest of the world) realize what is happening, the move will have a momentum of it's own enough to carry through, with minimum assist from the present administration.

"Madness Enabled by Profound Public Ignorance"

This is stated in different words in Hosea 4:6.  "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

Now comes the granddaddy of all double crosses.  We have seen in the news and on the web that ISIS poses a threat to the U.S.  The media is trying to burn this picture into the mind of Americans so there will be no question as to the need for funding of military action against ISIS.  Will it be coincidental that the final battle closes in Damascus?  And this is where the double cross comes in.  Our chief presumably will sacrifice the very army he has so meticulously and clandestinely created, armed, trained and funded.  It required a number of murders to keep this under wraps.

With the gains ISIS has made in the past month, it isn't going to be months before they are on the outskirts of Damascus.  With an Ebola pandemic in the U.S.and ISIS being blamed, who is going to question anything our chief wants to do to those folks?

China Becoming Global Gold Hub And Gold Price Discovery Centre

China is moving closer to positioning itself as the physical gold trading hub of the world and the world’s gold price discovery centre. It is a natural progression for the largest economy in the world and for the world’s largest gold buyer, importer and indeed producer.

The Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) is launching its yuan denominated international bullion trading exchange next month. This is another important step in internationalising the yuan or renminbi and positioning it as an alternative global reserve currency.

PUTIN ROCKS! Fed up with Muslim violence in Crimea, Russian government orders police to search Muslim women in headbags, Muslim bearded men, as well as Islamic schools.

Russia, in stepped-up efforts to quell Muslim violence, plans to pass a law, by 2015, that will prohibit certain Islamic literature deemed as extremist and dangerous to society. As of now, Russian police are already searching Muslim schools (madrassas) and stopping veiled Muslim women and bearded Muslim men to interrogate them in Crimea.

Shoebat  (h/t Mike F) It is the Russian Inquisition, and I can already hear the empty leftist and modern minded Christians complaining about it. Eider Ismailov, the assistant mufti of Crimea, said:

“This shows that Russian police do not trust headbagged women and see them as a separate group in the general public … This is nothing but an insult against our beliefs as Muslims.”

One report informs us:

Recently, Muslim women in the capital Simferopol and Bakhchysarai have accused Russian police of pulling women with Islamic hijab over for passport checks.

Women added that they were being treated as if they were ‘enemies’ on their Facebook profiles.

Security check did not target women only.

Over the past few days, Crimea religious schools, or madrassahs, have been searched for banned Islamic literature.

Three madrasas were searched during August 13, ahead of a law that will come into force in 2015 that bans a number of popular Islamic books, another assistant mufti, Esadullah Bairov, said.

“The books are removed as a warning, as the law is not in force in Crimea yet. Still no extremist literature was found in Crimean madrasas that were searched,” Bairov said.

WSJ Crimea’s chief prosecutor Natalia Poklonskaya said members of the Crimean Tatars’ self-governing council, known as the Mejlis, were suspected of “extremist activity.” She didn't announce any charges but warned that the council could be dissolved and banned across Russia. The threat comes after the breakaway region’s new authorities last month barred a prominent leader of the Muslim group from returning to Crimea for five years after he left for meetings in Kiev.

Prosecutors have warned Crimean Tatars that their main self-government body will be liquidated if it engages in “extremist” activities, a move that comes amid protests by local Tatars over the authorities’ refusal to allow their leader, Mustafa Dzhemilev, into the region.

Russia needs to continue and pursue such laws. Thank God for the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian government, working together to fight and suppress this evil. Let the Two Swords of St. Peter, that is, the Church and the State, be unleashed on the forces and principalities of darkness that so wish to destroy Christianity.

This is part of militancy: having the state to obliterate the works of Satan.

Ramey comments:

While I applaud what the Russians are doing, I feel compelled to comment on the final sentence.  " This is part of militancy: having the state to obliterate the works of Satan.

This does not happen because the state, "…all the kingdoms of the world", (see Luke 4:5), belong to Satan.

THE REST OF THE FERGUSON STORY

Narrative that made Ferguson national story unravels

Evidence mounts 'gentle giant' assaulted officer

Jerome R. Corsi, a Harvard Ph.D., is a WND senior staff reporter. He has authored many books, including No. 1 N.Y. Times bestsellers "The Obama Nation" and "Unfit for Command." Corsi's latest book is "Who Really Killed Kennedy?"

Attorney General Eric Holder talks Wednesday with Capt. Ron Johnson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, who has been put in charge of security in Ferguson, Missouri.

FERGUSON, Mo. – The narrative that drew the attention of President Obama and compelled him to dispatch Attorney General Eric Holder here continues to unravel.

Nearly two weeks of racially charged protests accompanied by looting, rioting, Molotov cocktails, gunfire, bricks and burned buildings have been fueled by the belief that Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed unarmed, 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug. 9 as he raised his hands in the air in surrender, only because he was black.

Brown, at 6’4″ and nearly 300 pounds, has been cast as a “gentle giant,” who, according to his uncle, was “too timid” to play football and “had never gotten into a fight in his entire life.”

But along with exposure of the belligerent “gangsta” persona Brown had on social media, key witnesses upon whom the prosecution was relying to convince a grand jury to charge Wilson with murder are changing their stories as evidence emerges that the officer was attacked and severely beaten by Brown, who had marijuana in his system, only minutes after the teen robbed a convenience store.

On Tuesday, a St. Louis radio station, citing a “very connected national media source,” reported Wilson will not be charged. The key testimony is from the Brown family’s star witness, Dorian Johnson, who accompanied Brown when he was shot. Johnson has changed his story, according to the report, and now admits Brown attacked the officer and attempted to take his gun.

As WND was first to report on Aug. 14, Johnson has an outstanding arrest warrant for theft and for making a false report to police.

‘Justice for the deceased man’s family’

According to police, Wilson reported ordering Brown and Johnson, who were walking in the middle of the street, to move to the sidewalk. Amid the confrontation, Wilson heard a radio dispatch reporting the convenience store robbery and realized Brown and Johnson fit the descriptions of the suspects.

Surveillance video of the robbery showed Brown strong-arming a clerk as he stole a box of cigars. The video was released Aug. 15 in response to Freedom of Information Act media requests. An insider told FoxNews.com that Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson held off the FOIA requests as long as possible because he wanted Brown’s grieving mother to have the chance to see it first.

But Democrat Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon called the release of the video an attempt “to disparage the character” of Brown, insisting that making it public “in the middle of a process like this is not right.” President Obama’s Justice Department also opposed releasing the video.

Nixon – violating his own demand to stay out of the investigation – added fuel to the fire Tuesday when he called for “justice for the deceased man’s family” and “a vigorous prosecution,” even though Wilson hasn’t been charged.

In a visit to Ferguson Wednesday, Attorney General Eric Holder, who indicated the Justice Department already is conducting a separate investigation, said in a meeting of 50 community leaders he understands why many black Americans distrust the police.

“I understand that mistrust,” Holder said. “I am the attorney general of the United States. But I am also a black man.”

Grand jury convened

A spokesman for St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch said Wednesday a grand jury has begun considering evidence to determine whether Wilson should be charged. He said the process could take weeks.

A group of clergy leaders is calling for McCulloch to step aside in favor of a special prosecutor, citing McCulloch’s deep family connections to the St. Louis Police Department. His father was killed responding to a call involving a black suspect.

Last week, a video of the shooting scene posted in defense of Brown, showing the teen’s body lying in the street, inadvertently captured an account by a witness that supports the officer’s claim that Brown doubled back and attacked the officer.

Dorian Johnson

In his original account of the shooting to media, Dorian Johnson said he and Brown were innocently walking down the middle of the street when the officer encountered them.

“We wasn’t causing any harm to nobody. We had no weapons on us at all,” he said.

Johnson claimed the police officer pulled up in his squad car and said: “Get the ‘F’ on the sidewalk.”

He alleged the officer, from inside his vehicle, “grabbed my friend around the neck” and “was trying to choke my friend.” He said the officer then tried to pull Brown into the car, drew his weapon and said, “I’ll shoot you.”

Johnson said, in the “same moment, the first shot went off.”

He said Brown was shot and then he stopped, raising his hands, but the officer continued shooting him.

Dorian Johnson describes the shooting:

In contrast, the police report said Brown pushed the officer into his squad car, assaulted him and struggled to get the officer’s weapon. A shot was fired in the car before the struggle moved to the street, where the officer fired his gun multiple times as Brown rushed toward him.

‘Orbital blowout’

On Wednesday came news that Wilson suffered severe facial injuries and was nearly beaten unconscious by Brown moments before firing his gun, according to a source close to the department’s top brass who spoke with FoxNews.com.

The report aligns with Police Chief Jackson’s Aug. 13 announcement that Wilson was treated at a hospital for facial swelling.

Officer Darren Wilson

More than a dozen witnesses have supported Wilson’s account, police sources reportedly told St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Christine Byers.

A woman named “Josie,” who said she was Wilson’s friend, called TheBlaze TV host Dana Loesch’s radio show Friday and said Brown “bum-rushed” Wilson moments after pushing him into his squad car, punching him in the face and trying to grab the officer’s gun.

“Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him,” Josie said. ” … And then all of a sudden, he just started bum-rushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And so he just started shooting. And he just kept coming. And so [Wilson] really thinks [Brown] was on something. The final shot was in the forehead, and then he fell about two or three feet in front of the officer.”

Official county autopsy results released Aug. 15 concluded Brown, indeed, was “on something,” with marijuana found in his system.

The autopsy also showed Brown was shot at least six times from the front, which supports claims he was running toward the officer.

Unwitting witness

A video featured by the ConservativeTreehouse.com blog captured a description of the incident by an apparent black male eyewitness, who was speaking to someone who had arrived later on the scene as Brown’s body lay in the street.

“How’d he get from there to there?” the witness was asked.

Michael Brown flashing a gang sign

“Because he ran, the police was still in the truck – ’cause he was like over the truck. … But him and the police was both in the truck, then he ran – the police got out and ran after him.

“Then the next thing I know, he doubled back toward him ’cause – the police had his gun drawn already on him”

The onlooker asked: “Oh, the police got his gun?”

“The police kept dumpin’ on him, and I’m thinking the police kept missing – he like, be like, but he kept coming toward him,” the witness said.

A former high-school classmate and hockey buddy has come to Wilson’s defense, FoxNews.com reported, contending in interviews the 28-year-old officer harbors no racial animus and would never maliciously take a life.

Jake Shepard said Wilson, describing him as shy, has “been struggling a little bit” since the shooting.

“He didn’t really want to talk much about it,” Shepard, also 28, said of Brown’s death. “But I can tell you for sure it was not racially motivated. He’s not the type of person to harbor any hate for anybody. He was always nice, respectable and well-mannered, a gentleman. He doesn’t have anything bad to say about anybody, ever. He’s very genuine.”

Ramey comments:

Will we see the same "relentless" push from the oval office to lynch the officer, (because he shot a black man), that we saw in the media fraud of the Trayvon Martin incident?  The media still insists on portraying Trayvon Martin as the picture of innocence with a photo of him at 12 years of age rather than the 190 pound tattooed hulk that he was at 17 when he assaulted the security guard Zimmerman.  We were inundated with a barrage of lies and innuendoes from the media and the endless repetition of how Zimmerman "…shot an unarmed teen ager",    Seems we are hearing this same broken record.

Is anyone surprised?

Disgusting...the POS in our White House could not even stop playing golf while one of his generals is buried ... excuse me, not his general, ours.

Guess who was missing at funeral of highest ranking officer killed in combat

Respect.

U.S. Army Major General Harold Greene was buried today at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors, including a caisson, two escort platoons, casket team, firing party, colors team, and a caparisoned horse. The U.S. Army band, “Pershing’s Own,” played softly as the funeral procession made its way down the long hill past the rows of simple white gravestones to bring General Greene to his final resting place.

The graveside service began with a few words, followed by a 13-gun salute. The major general’s widow, Dr. Susan Myers, was seated in the front row. To her right was their son 1st Lt. Matthew Greene, his daughter Amelia Greene, followed by Major General Greene’s father, also Harold Greene.

After three rifle volleys and the playing of “Taps,” the American flag, once placed on the major general’s casket, was carefully folded as the band played “America the Beautiful.” U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno presented the flag to his widow, and additional flags to his children and father.

General Greene, 55, became the highest-ranking fatality in the war in Afghanistan after an Afghan military police officer opened fire on Aug. 5th, 2014.

Some People were missing:  NO President; NO Vice President; NO Secretary of State; NO Secretary of Defense.  It WAS confirmed, however, that President Obama was playing golf at the time of the funeral.

Army General Talks Of  'Apocalyptic, End-Of- Days' Vision

By Susan Duclos

Since the graphic images and video of the terror group ISIS beheading American photojournalist James Foley came out, the language being used by government officials about ISIS has been taken to a new level, with statements like "They are an imminent threat to every interest we have, whether it's in Iraq or anywhere else," and "They are beyond just a terrorist group. They marry ideology, a sophistication of ... military prowess. They are tremendously well-funded. This is beyond anything we've seen.," from Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel to Pentagon reporters on Thursday.

Perhaps the most incendiary language came from General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, when talking about radicalized Europeans or Americans returning to their home countries after fighting in Iraq or Syria, which as was reported on Thursday, concerns US officials because they believe "some Americans have joined the Islamic State and, programmed to conduct suicide bombings," upon their return to the US.

Dempsey states "This is an organization that has an apocalyptic, end-of- days strategic vision and which will eventually have to be defeated."  He continues "To your question, can they be defeated without addressing that part of their organization which resides in Syria? The answer is no. That will have to be addressed on both sides of what is essentially at this point a non-existent border."

And there ladies and gentlemen, we have come full circle as the US government campaigns to finish what they attempted and failed at so many months ago....... military action in Syria.

Ramey comments:

It would seem the Obama regime has at last found the key to coalescing the war hawks in congress and that was the graphic beheading of an American journalist.  This strategy is something that was promoted by George Bush in Iraq as "Shock 'n Awe"  There is another way to spell it but with the same pronunciation and that is "Shekinah".   This is not co-incidental.

Now we can fund both sides of a Syrian war just as we have done for the past few years in the Israeli/Gaza war.

"Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin"!

BREAKING STORY

It begins to appear that the "Foley murder" was more creative reporting and "Hollyweird support".  A detailed analysis of the video reveals interesting things.  More on that in another report.
