COMMENTARY & OPINION

IS A DEATH BED REPENTANCE VALID?

BEFORE WE  COULD ADDRESS THIS QUESTION IN ANY KIND OF A MEANINGFUL WAY, WE WOULD FIRST HAVE TO KNOW THE DEFINITION OF THE WORD "REPENTANCE"

THIS IS AN OVERUSED TERM IN THE RELIGIOUS WORLD AND YET IT WOULD SEEM THAT FEW CHRISTIANS KNOW THE DEFINITION.

THE SIMPLEST AND MOST CONCISE DEFINITION I HAVE SEEN IS IN STRONG'S CONCORDANCE AND WE SEE THAT THE DEFINITION OF "REPENT" CAN BE RENDERED IN ONE WORD, "RECONSIDER".  ISN'T THAT BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE AND COUCHED IN THE CURRENT ENGLISH?

Now, perhaps we can proceed to answer the question posed at the beginning of this article.

First we must come to realize that our span of years in this physical life are for a great purpose and that purpose is to learn judgment.  Normally, we learn good judgment by exercising poor judgment and seeing the consequences thereof.

Why do we need to learn good judgment?  Because it is the first step in mankind being capable of self rule.  Good judgment is about having the vision to survey the field of pros and cons and making a conscious decision to adhere to the way of truth and righteousness.

Is this too simple?  If so, then why is this world in the mess it is in today?  It is because of poor judgment that dates back for millennia.  That poor judgment can also be reduced to one word which is idolatry.

Idolatry is the system through which all of the gov'ts of this world are administered.

Rulers don't want to hear this and would gleefully shoot the messenger if the opportunity presented itself.

America considered itself a Christian nation until Obama.  Now Russia considers itself a Christian nation.  Both have been and are ignorant of the fact that Christianity is idolatry.  This does not resonate well with those who call themselves Christian.  But if they had eyes to see and ears to hear, one would think they would have the good sense to hear the rest of the story.  I have given the rest of that story in these Commentaries and see no need to repeat it here.  I have tried to show that religion was created by Satan for the purpose of the deception of "...the whole world".  Churches were created by the Vatican, (as a vassal of Satan), in order to transfer allegiance from the Creator to buildings with a phallus on top showing they are a worship center for Baal, the chief god of the Phoenicians.   Most of this has been hidden in the idolatry we call "Christianity".

A few Christian churches pride themselves on having no phallus, (steeple), atop their edifice but do they do due diligence on their god Jesus?  Do they do their research to see when Christianity was started --- and by whom?  Some even reject the pagan holidays and are even trying to adhere to the "...feasts of God" outlined in Leviticus 23, but those I have investigated become so involved with blending them with Judaism as to make them irrelevant.  Judaism is no closer to godliness than Catholicism.  Those in the world of religion have fallen victim to a confederacy committed to the "...deception of the whole world".

These are the Jews and Babylonian Mystery religion now called Catholic or Christian.  The Jews falsified the Old Testament, (see Jeremiah 8:8), and the Catholics have spin doctored the New Testament.  These two parties are locked into a covenant as we can see in I Maccabees 8.  The covenant was submitted to the Roman senate by Judas Maccabee over 2000 years ago,  The Romans accepted it but added a codicil that it was to remain a covenant "FOREVER".    This covenant is still in effect and the Roman Empire is still very much alive.  "All their power..." was passed to the Vatican as we can see in Rev 13:12 presumably for the administration of the inquisition.

But now, back to the original question at the beginning of this communique --- "IS A DEATHBED REPENTANCE VALID?"  and what does this have to do with learning judgment?  The apostle Paul said, "Know you not that the saints shall judge the world?"  We can see in Rev 14:1-3 that the saints of all of recorded history will be resurrected in the first resurrection and there will only be 144,000.  This will comprise the sum total of the judges of this world.  These will be those put through the training of learning judgment --- and they will form the backbone of the Kingdom of God that is to rule on planet earth.  The rapture theory and Christians going to heaven is myth, clean and simple.  We see in Matthew 5 that the "...meek are to inherit the earth".

What I want you to consider is that if you were on the panel of judges of the saints who are to judge the world, and a person came up before the tribunal quite obviously guilty of multiple murders plus all the sins that accompany murder, and he/she realized this was the final judgment and in abject fear of having their name erased from history forever, pleaded guilty, but said, "I'm sorry".  Would you be willing to accept that apology as restitution for the crimes committed?

Fear is a powerful motivational driver but does it make one ready to live in a world governed by the laws, statutes, precepts and judgments of the Creator?  Judgment. of those sitting on these tribunals requires considering the consequences of releasing these criminals on a society that has, in good conscience, determined to live by the laws of the Creator.  We have to consider it in the light of Satan's society today that releases mass murderers on parole only to repeat their crimes of the past.  Common sense would tell us to hold those who sign off on these paroles responsible and punish them as accessories to the crime --- but Satan's gov't says "Que, Sara, Sara".

Those saints resurrected as the judges of this world will have a keen sense of justice and the rulers, pedophiles, bankers, lawyers, and all who are locked into Satan's establishment, will feel the sting of this keen sense of justice.  It's closer than we dare believe.

Judgment is not something you park at the door as you leave the tribunal where you sentenced someone to die for their crimes or where you erased someone's name from history forever. Judgment is life.  Judgment is the future.  Judgment is living by the laws, statutes, precepts and judgments of the Creator.  Judgment is the antithesis of idolatry.  Developing judgment is an investment in forever.

So is a deathbed repentance valid?  I do believe this will be determined by the saints who "...judge the world" as per the apostle Paul.

Are we preparing to be a part of those who judge the world?  Do we want to be a part of those who judge the world?  Yes, it's a big responsibility and that is only half of it.  That 144,000 is also the army at Christ's back when he mounts the battle of Rev 19.  Are we preparing for head chopping as well, as were the Israelites who surrounded Jericho?

If we are to be in the Kingdom of God established on this earth under Christ's administration, then we have to be preparing for all this and more.  Judgment is understanding the justice that is about to be delivered to this planet for the first time in recorded history.

Justice can be extremely ugly as it was in the destruction of Jericho in or about 1450 BC and also in the destruction of Israel in 721-720 BC and Jerusalem in 587-586 BC.  Why this destruction?  Because of idolatry.

Why is America being destroyed?  Because of idolatry.  Have we the vision to see that all religion today is idolatry?  If not, then I feel we are about to come face to face with the true meaning of "Ugly".

Can we understand that this is not the time of Solomon, nor the time of Christ, but rather the end of the age when we have all of history to witness against us?  Have we "...eyes to see and ears to hear" and are we using those God given senses?
