CXIV

COGNITIVE DISSONANCE

"noun    (Concise Encyclopedia)

Mental conflict that occurs when beliefs or assumptions are contradicted by new information. The concept was introduced by the psychologist Leon Festinger (1919–89) in the late 1950s. He and later researchers showed that, when confronted with challenging new information, most people seek to preserve their current understanding of the world by rejecting, explaining away, or avoiding the new information or by convincing themselves that no conflict really exists. Cognitive dissonance is nonetheless considered an explanation for attitude change."

Cognitive dissonance is a mental disorder that afflicts the vast majority of Americans.  Cognitive dissonance is the reason why America is in trouble today. 

A perfect illustration of cognitive dissonance occurs when you tell a Christian that Christianity did not originate with Christ.  They do not want to hear it and they don't want to know where you came up with such a precept.  If they had a love of truth and looked into the source, which is book III of Will and Ariel Durant's "History of Civilization", It would collapse their religious "house of cards". 

Another perfect illustration is when you tell a member of the Jewish religion that Judaism is not the way of life taught by Moses.  Do they "…receive it with all readiness of mind" as did the Bereans Paul spoke to?  Or is it something like a Democrat trying to convince a Republican of the wisdom of a democratic policy? 

And it doesn't stop with religion but spills over into virtually every facet of life in America.  How about flag wavers?  Suppose you told one of them it's a ritual involved in the worship of the image of the beast mentioned in Revelation 13 --- do you think they would thank you for sharing that information? 

When Galileo discovered that the sun, instead of earth, was the center of our solar system, was he hailed as a man of great knowledge?  Not that this was new knowledge because Abraham was aware of this millennia before and even taught astronomy to the Egyptians.  Was that knowledge lost or was it covered over by men to give them an edge in their presumptuous rule over others? 

Our entire educational system today is based on myth such as "Columbus discovered America".  The Catholic bishop of Iceland was on the American continent centuries before Columbus was born.  His name was Eric Gnupson. 

There is a 25 acre religious compound in New Hampshire called Mystery Hill that dates back some 4000 years and appears to have been Phoenician.  There is also a copper mine on an island in the western portion of Lake Superior that was in operation 4000 years ago.  There is a stone in New Mexico, some 20 miles southwest of Albuquerque that has the ten commandments written on it in Hebrew, Egyptian and Phoenician and a court case in 1986 concluded that it is genuine and dates back to the time of Solomon.  Why have these historical facts been ignored, ridiculed and covered over?  Is it for the same reason Galileo was forced to recant his discovery?  Is it yet another illustration of "Cognitive Dissonance"?

In the 1930s, there was an old Russian Jew named Immanuel Velikovsky who wrote several very scholarly books such as "Ramses and Akhenaton", "Ages in Chaos" and "Worlds in Collision".  His works were a collection of historical information gathered over three generations and should have been an eye opener to the world.  However those who presume to rule over others by keeping them ignorant were pushing the myth of Darwinism at that time and shouted down this eminent historian and his books were removed from the public schools and ignorance prevailed.  One of the things I remember read-ing in one of his books, (I believe it was "Worlds in Collision"), was that the atmosphere of the planet Venus consisted of hydrocarbons.

When we sent a Venus probe, if you recall, one of the astounding bits of information gleaned was that Venus' atmosphere is hydrocarbons.

We worship ignorance and it shows in our religions, all of which trace their roots to Babylon.  And this includes Judaism.  The reason for the Babylonian captivity of the nation of Judah, (one of the 13 tribes of Israel), is because they turned their backs on the Creator introduced to them by Moses and abandoned the covenant made with Him. Christ called the Pharisees "Sons of the devil".

The ten tribe nation of Israel had gone into captivity at the hands of Assyria some 135 years before and you can pick up pieces of the story in II Kings 17.  One of the Judaic myths of today is that the Jews are the remnant of ancient Israel.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  The unvarnished truth is that the Ashkenazi "Jews" of today are not even of the seed of Abraham.  You can get the "rest ot the story" in a book by one of their own entitled "The Thirteenth Tribe" by Arthur Koestler.

Cognitive Dissonance extends into all facets of our lives such as foodstuffs.  When I showed my wife that "palmitate" is vitamin A and/or D grown in a culture of pig brains, she stopped reading labels.

When you find that some of your favorite foodstuffs are laced with all sorts of poisons, you really don't want to hear it.  It could mean rethinking what you put into your mouth. 

Cognitive Dissonance can be aptly compared to aspirin or Tylenol. These are pain blockers of the varsity team that do nothing to alleviate the root cause of the pain but block it to a level of being tolerable.  When we need the professional grade of pain blocking, we call for morphine.  This is the class Cognitive Dissonance belongs in.

Cognitive Dissonance is manufactured by our brain as a defense mechanism.  It is a powerful pain blocker but, as in the case of aspirin or Tylenol, it does nothing to eliminate the source of the pain.  The source of the pain is rejection of truth.  (Embracing myths equals rejecting truth).The apostle Paul addressed this deficiency in II Thessalonians 2:10.  "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish: because  they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

11  "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusions, that they should believe a lie."

So we can see that the root cause of the pain that demands the brain manufacture the "morphine" of Cognitive Dissonance is the rejection of truth.  And this is not limited to spiritual truth --- those who have accepted the official "truths" of the JFK murder, Ruby Ridge, the Waco Massacre, Murrah Building bombing, 911, and now the Ukraine situation and MH-17, have no love of truth and will be (are) given "…strong delusions" by the Creator to believe the lies now being promoted by the media. 

The media is now manufacturing a whopper of a lie for the end of the age that will be on a par with the deception of the creation of the image of the beast.  The public is already being conditioned through the movies to accept this lie and I have covered this in part in past Commentaries. 

Those afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance have a name for those who aren't --- they call them "Conspiracy Theorists".  This also is but another symptom of their inability to think for themselves because it was coined by one of the media and quickly became a buzz word for them. 

Many of those who pride themselves on seeing through the conspiracy remain half blind because they cannot see the conspiracy in all religion. 

There is a highly spiritual sounding term for growing mentally out of the darkness of ignorance.  It's called "repentance" and is simply the King James era word for "reconsideration".  Most people today feel they have to have "surround sound" and wall to wall entertainment.  There isn't time for "reconsideration".  That requires turning of the TV, radio and your mate to meditate.  Meditation is simply reviewing what you know, what you think you know and holding it up to the light of known facts.  And it takes time. 

I have shown in these Commentaries where the question is asked in Isaiah 28:9:  "Whom shall He teach knowledge and whom shall He make to understand doctrine?"  The prophet then goes on to answer the question and even shows how this teaching will be done and how this understanding will be given.  "…Precept upon precept … line upon line … here a little and there a little …"

Using this formula, we have also seen in the pages of these Commentaries that this method actually works.  We have learned some pretty awesome truths.  We can prove these things and add them to our fund of knowledge and let them grow us mentally or we can reject them and take the shot of "morphine" our brain offers us for blocking of the pain, thereby continuing in our mental state of Cognitive Dissonance.   

My thanks to Dave Hodges for bringing this term to my attention. and my thanks to Niki Hannevig for the expanded definition.  It puts yet another puzzle piece into place in the mosaic of the mysteries of life. 

When I first began writing, some few years back, that the prophet Habakkuk, in his "little book" of only three chapters and bearing his name, positively identifies America as the end time Babylon, it seemed to fall on deaf ears.  But now, I begin to see more and more mention, in comments on the web, that America is Babylon.  So some few are listening and presumably proving it to themselves.

It stands to reason that these are not religious folks because they have illusions to maintain --- deception to promote.

Two other major revelations have been on the web for years and yet I have seen nothing to indicate that anyone understands either.  #1 is that America is the image of the Roman beast we see mentioned in Revelation 13.  #2 is that the book of Daniel, sealed at the time of writing until the end time, has now been opened and it was opened in February of 2011 with the fulfillment of Daniel 11:42-43.  In Daniel 12:10, we see the angel who gave Daniel the things he was to write for our edification today, telling Daniel that, at the time of the end, there would be only two camps on earth --- these were the wise and the wicked.  He showed in the same verse, how to differentiate between the two.  And this is where we find ourselves today.  The dream image of King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2) of ancient Babylon has played out right down to the feet and toes made of a mixture of Iron and clay.  We are living in the time of those feet and toes and five of those toes are Muslim and five are Christian.  These two powers are being pitted against each other for the purpose of mutual destruction.  Albert Pike envisioned this well over a century ago in a letter to a man only identified as Mazzini.  The "One Worlders" are hoping to rescue the world from chaos and unite it under the Luciferian banner.  But Lucifer's time has run out and he knows it.  His hope now is to destroy the earth completely but it won't happen.

His replacement will be inducted into the office of King of the Earth and we can see the ceremony taking place, evidently on earth, in Daniel 7:13-14.  We are living in the generation that witnesses this and we can see this in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. 

This world is on a collision course with destiny.  Mankind was given a segment of time to see if he could come up with an equitable government under the tutelage of Satan but all we have succeeded in doing is pushing the earth ever closer to complete and total destruction.

There has not been a time in recorded history when a nation could be "…destroyed in one hour", until the nuclear age.  But Revelation 18 says the end time Babylon will be destroyed in one hour.  And yet we push for a nuclear war with Russia!  This is the agenda of Satan and his minions.  Do not be deceived.  America does not win this war and we can see the gory details of our demise in Jeremiah chapters 50 & 51. 

This also is something the masses and the churches cannot see.  We can see in Daniel 12:10 who it is that will understand it.  Rather than understanding, it would seem we prefer myths such as santa, the easter bunny, the rapture and Columbus discovered America.  It seems we are starting to have our noses rubbed in these myths.

IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN MAKE IT PLAINER?  OUR PRESIDENT WAS PUT IN THE OVAL OFFICE BY THE HAND OF GOD

I realize full well that intro will infuriate Christian readers but if they are not severely afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance, perhaps they can bear with me long enough to get "…the rest of the story".

Which god was it that put him there?  The god of this world --- see II Corinthians 4:4 and Luke 4.  But it was with the approval of the Supreme Sovereign of the Universe --- see Daniel 4:17. 

Why would He do this?  Because of the idolatry of America.  The indictment by the Creator is given in Habakkuk chapter 2.  We are called Chaldea in the book of Habakkuk and this is simply another name for Babylon.  We are the Babylon mentioned in Revelation 18 that is to be destroyed "…in one hour".   

"Idolatry of America?"  Yes --- we worship the image of the beast which is the Republic we never had.  It is symbolized by the American flag to which we pledge our allegiance as instructed from kindergarten.  How many have looked in their dictionary to see the definition of "allegiance"?  That definition has been watered down (as with many other words in the English language) over the past decades and centuries, to suit the politically correct agenda of the globalists.

But if you go back through enough editions of unabridged dictionaries, you should see that the definition of "allegiance" at the time it was adopted for the "pledge" was "…the relationship between a serf and his Lord".  With this in mind, I suggest you go over, line by line, the pledge, and consider what you are pledging.  I submit to you that pledging allegiance to a flag is idolatry by definition!

Yes, we are the end time Babylon and have already been judged and indicted by the Creator as we see in Habakkuk 2.  There is no reversing this judgment!  It is already inscribed in bronze as it were and we are now waiting for the hammer to fall. 

The money moguls are now running the show because of advantage, but that is just before changing big time.  Those who have raped and robbed the world and now control the money are pitting Christians against Muslim for mutual destruction.  This will leave the field wide open for the introduction of their New World Luciferian religion.  But it isn't going to happen.  We sit at the crossroads of time.  We are rapidly approaching the end of this age and the beginning of another and it will be accompanied by much destruction.  This has been shown us by the writings of the prophets --- but who believes the prophets?

Hopefully, by now, thinking Christians have taken up the challenge to look into where their religion came from.  It wasn't Christ!

Religion is the tool invented by Satan for the deception of the whole world and we can see in Revelation 12:9 that it has been successful. 

We can see in Daniel 12:10 who it is that will understand what is going on in these end times.  The angel showed Daniel that the world would be divided into only two camps at that time and he showed how to differentiate between the two.  We are living in that time!  Have you noticed the frequency and intensity of earthquakes in the past couple of years?  Have you compared this with Matthew 24:7?

And it isn't just Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 24, but the ancient prophets as well, are describing the times we are living in.  We are on the threshold of the the biggest military reversal in all of recorded history and it appears it is to happen in this generation and evidently, in this administration.  The man (?) who has sold America to the Muslim will not live long enough to march in his victory parade. 

Much is to happen in the coming weeks and months and once Babylon is breached, it will happen rapid fire.  We need to review the reasons for this coming captivity in Leviticus 26:38-46 and realize what our conduct is to be at that time. 

Is the world going to end at this time?  It really isn't.  That is more of the religious myths we have been raised with.  The age will end as it did in the day of Noah.  But the world will survive as it did then.  It will survive with a population reduction that matches the one proposed by the New World Order ilk.  What they don't know, at this time, is that they are a part of that population reduction. 

There are many surprises in store, especially for those of the sect of Christian idolatry.  To those afflicted with Cognizant Dissonance, this will appear to be a contradiction of terms, but it isn't, as will be revealed in the coming weeks and months. 

The world is at a crossroads.  Babylon is finished and the finality will come like a bolt out of the blue.  There are a select few who will be rescued from this Babylon before it is destroyed and we can get the overview in Isaiah 52:10-12.  This will not be an exodus of some 3 million as the exodus from Egypt was.  We can see in Matthew 24:37 that it will be "…as it was in the days of Noah".  Only eight people were delivered from the flood in those days.  (See Genesis 7).

Christianity is a myth propagated by Mystery Babylon (Revelation 17).  Jesus is another myth and we can see in Isaiah 52:6 that "…My people shall know My name."   It wasn't (isn't) Jesus! 

In Daniel 2 we can see a dream of King Nebuchadnezzar that was interpreted by Daniel and it represents the tapestry of time unfurled from King Neb's day to the present.  The final kingdom (empire) represented in that dream was the legs and feet of King Neb's dream image.  The feet and toes is where we find ourselves today.  I have shown in past Commentaries that these two legs and feet are represented today by the two major religions of the world and these are Christianity and Islam.  These are being pitted against each other by the money moguls of the world today for the purpose of mutual destruction.  This is to pave the way for their One World Religion of Luciferianism.  .  

Are we living in a dream world and parroting the catch phrases of the media and living the life of those "…destroyed for lack of knowledge"? (Hosea 4:6).  If so, it is high time to wake up to the times we are living in and understand that America is on the eve of destruction.

If we have not learned a love of truth, (II Thessalonians 2), it may be a bit late in the game to acquire it.  The truth is "…our fathers have inherited lies", (see Jeremiah 16:19).

These Commentaries are dedicated to waking the few, who are still capable of doing their own thinking, to the times we are living in.  You have not been asked for a donation nor have you been made to feel a guilt trip if you fail to make one of your own volition.  I do not ask for donations nor do I receive donations.  I am a voice in this wilderness of idolatry urging you to look at what the prophets have written and compare it to the world we live in today.

The book of Daniel was sealed at the time of writing (see Daniel 12:4 and 9), and was only to be opened at the time of the end.  It has now been opened for over three years.  We are living in the time of the end.  Verse 10 of chapter 12 shows who will understand the book when it is opened.  If we are to be included in the exodus from Baby-lon, it is imperative that we understand the book of Daniel.  

I am not promoting a new religion.  I feel that all religion will be abolished in the near future.  Christ did not bring a new religion and if you will but do your homework, you will see that the worship of the cross dates back more than 4000 years.  Check any encyclopedia, article "Cross". 

There definitely is a spirit world despite the fact that politicians try to pooh-pooh this even as they pursue their worship of Lucifer.  The god of this world is Satan (Lucifer --- see II Corinthians 4:4), and he truly has "…deceived the whole world" as we can see in Revelation 12:9.

It is time to emerge from this deception by reviewing what the prophets have written concerning the days we are living in. 

Daniel 12:10 shows us that the Creator has categorized the world we live in into only two camps --- the wise and the wicked.  The same verse shows how to differentiate between the two.  We need to understand which camp we are assigned to.     

U.S. & ‘International Banks’ Finance Ukraine’s Civil War

On November 26th, Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, said, “Our cabinet has resumed the program of activity and cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and other banks. Today international investors are not ready to go to the country, but international banks are ready to help us. … We would not have survived without the international assistance.”

In a related news-report, the investigative journalist who goes by the pseudonym “Tyler Durden” headlined at his zero hedge website on November 25th, “Hacked US Documents Said To Reveal Extent Of Undisclosed US ‘Lethal Aid’ For Ukraine Army,” and he posted the documents, which seem authentic, and which include U.S. supplies of “400 sniper-rifles, 2,000 assault-rifles, 720 hand-held grenade launchers, 200 mortars with more than 70,000 mines, 150 stingers, 420 antitank missiles and so on.” Also shown there is an authorization signed by President Obama authorizing the U.S. Secretary of State, to “direct the drawdown of up to $5 million in defense articles and services of the Department of Defense and military education and training to provide immediate military assistance for the Government of Ukraine, to aid their efforts to respond to the current crisis,” and “to direct the drawdown of up to $20 million in nonlethal commodities and services from any agency of the United States Government,” for the same purpose.

The lethal aid had not previously been reported, except in rebel-produced videos of the war (such as this), claiming, and sometimes showing, U.S. weapons used against them on the battlefield. However, those rebels are using Russian-made weapons, though some of those come from the defeated forces on the opposite side. This is not only a civil war within Ukraine; it is also an international proxy war between NATO and Russia.

Those reports of U.S. involvement on the side of nazis are generally not mentioned in Western news-media, because they don’t come from Western news-media, and the West is backing this war against the rebel-areas. However, some Western news-media have documented the heavy involvement of racist-fascist, or nazi, leadership and battalions in the military of the Ukrainian Government after the overthrow of the former Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovych, which occurred in February of this year. Some former U.S. intelligence professionals have even written publicly about it. The resistance fighters in Ukraine claim that the current Ukrainian Government is controlled by nazis whose hatred is directed against ethnic Russians, but Ukraine’s officials deny that they are nazis.

It is a rare American who has done due diligence on "Operation Paperclip" and come to the realization that America is also controlled by Nazi thinking. These are the "Assyrians" (NATO forces?), of Isaiah 30-31 that will attempt to loot Israel after their destruction. 

Just as the Roman Empire preserved the stronger assets of the nations that preceded them, such as the Chaldean (Babylonian) ruling class, the Medo-Persian military and the Greek academic educational institutes. so also, the image of the Roman beast has tried to preserve the Nazi strength that hopefully will catapult them into the New World Order.  The Bush family, (whose Nazi name was Scherf), was quite active in the movement of the Nazi war criminals to the U.S. in "Operation Paperclip". These people seem to feel that they have operated under the cover of darkness but the coming purge of war criminals will make the 10 or 11 executed at Nurenburg, (by "…those who say they are Jews but do lie"), pale into insignificance.  This world is about to be cleaned up and the first wave of cleanup will be the Russian execution of those in the American government and their contractors.  Even now we are being conditioned by our media traitors for the Russian win of WW III.  There are currently over half a million Russian troops on U.S. soil.  Why?  There are also Chinese troops for which numbers are not available.  Why?  Have we been set up by our "elected" representatives?

This is not new to those "in the loop" in the federal government --- but they think they will escape the purge because they have a cubicle reserved in the underground bunkers called D.U.M.B.s.  We can see in Isaiah 24:21-22 where they are mentioned. 

The America we have known is already gone.  Our chief gave it to the Muslim and the bankers.  Can we now begin to see the message of the prophets?  Can we begin to see that we are the image of the beast --- Revelation 13?   Can we begin to see that we are Babylon?  (See the book of Habakkuk).  Can we begin to see that the book of Daniel has been opened? 

We need to understand where we are in the unfurling of the tapestry of time. The best perspective I can recommend is the second chapter of the book of Daniel.  We live in the days of the feet and toes of the dream image of King Nebuchadnezzar.  We live in the times referred to by the prophets as the "end time".  This is not the end of the world, as religious myth would have us believe, but rather, the end of the age.  Noah closed out one age and ushered in another but the world did not end nor will it end at the end of this age. 

It is difficult to kick something you have been taught since childhood, such as santa, the easter bunny and Columbus discovered America, but we have to kick these myths if we are to survive the age end.  When your chances are one in nine, you need an edge and the edge is knowledge.  Hosea 4:6 says, "…my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…"  Any knowledge we can gain in the right direction is a "leg up" in the race we are in.  The world we live in is winding down.

It may not be here next year.  There is a new world coming and we can get glimpses of it in Isaiah 30-34.  It will be so different from the world of today that it will be unbelievable.  We are talking about a world without lawyers, bankers, politicians and those who destroy the earth. 

I have lived long enough to realize that things that seem too good to be true usually are --- but we have the testimony of the prophets to verify these things.  I am also well aware that the testimonies of the prophets are the subject of many interpretations.  It is our individual responsibility to check out these things and receive new information "…with all readiness of mind and search the scriptures daily whether these things are so", as the apostle Paul said the Bereans did.   If you are incapable of this --- so be it.

Russia Is Ready for Shooting War, Will Likely Win Looming Nuclear Showdown with U.S. – Report

Preparedness for a nuclear conflict could prove as the foremost tactical advantage of Russia over the United States, likely positioning Moscow to score a win in case a shooting World War III with Washington as nemesis erupts.

Noting the recent reports that Russia has gained the upper hand in nuclear weapons capability against the United States, Forbes contributor James Conca argued in his article that America's most pressing concern is complacency.

Nuclear war is non-existent

In his report, Conca outlined the deteriorating state of America's nuclear weapons that in October 2013 was highlighted by the departure of a U.S. general who was supposed to steer into top shape the country's Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) command.

However, high-profile reports about lapses on ICBM handling in the past few years led to the firing last year of the same top-level official.

This was happening as Russia was hard at work to match or even exceed not only the U.S. nuclear arsenal but also its technology. And as admitted by the U.S. State Department, America is now the underdog should hostilities involving nuclear weapons between the two nations actually break out, dreadfully sparking World War III.

This is the present case, Conca wrote, because the U.S., the public and officials alike, are convinced that nuclear war is far too remote to happen and threat is simply non-existent.

"Not so in Russia. They're ready," the Forbes report declared. It appeared too that in the past 40 years, Moscow not only did not let its guards down but also doubled up its efforts of building up. This explains the new generation of long-range cruise missiles that are ready for mobile deployment by land or sea.

Pentagon is reduced to playing catch up

Fortunately, the U.S. government is admitting that the present situation is unacceptable with Defence chief Chuck Hagel conceding that "routine neglect of our nuclear weapons programs over the years has compromised our ability to respond to an actual threat."

To correct the situation, Hagel recently announced that up to $8 billion will be added to the maintenance of America's nuclear arsenal that should set off the country's accelerated efforts to regain the nuclear leadership against Russia.

(Hagel will not be around to oversee the catch up attempt as he resigned November 24, which BBC said was confirmed by U.S. President Barack Obama.

No more cooperation

Meanwhile, Russia continues to put up a proud face and its aggressive ways as it flagged earlier this November plans to wind down nuclear security cooperation with the United States.

The move, according to The New York Times, is seen as Russia's way of saying that it requires no outside assistance in securing the country's nuclear assets and network.

Or as observers would say, it could be Moscow's strong message to the West and the United States in particular that it cannot be pressured about Ukrainian borders, where Russian troops are said to be amassing by the thousands.
